I’ve been training at Improve for exactly a year today. In that time, I’ve learned how to lift weights properly and safely; I’ve enjoyed every minute of training – it’s fun, hard and full of decent chat. Everyone there is working towards the same goal and supports and encourages each other.
What happens after the trial?
That’s totally up to you. If you’ve enjoyed your trial period with us, you can hop on one of our membership packages. They range from £169-249 and we’ll work with you to make sure you’re doing what’s best for you and your goals. If you’re happy going it alone after the 30 days, that’s no problem either.
Are training times flexible?
We have sessions running from 7am-11am & 4pm-8pm Monday-Thursday, 6am-11am & 3pm-7pm Friday and 8am-12pm on Saturday.
All of our sessions are accessible via a super-user-friendly mobile booking app so there’s no need to worry about going back and forth over text or email to book your sessions.
What if I don’t like it?
Just let us know and we’ll give you your money back. It’s not happened yet, but we really don’t want anyone feeling like they have to come to our gym. We want everyone to want to be there.
Is the Personal Training 1-to-1?
No, in our Personal Training sessions you’ll be training with between 1 and 3 other people. This allows us to offer a flexible and super-affordable Personal Training session that delivers a unique blend between individual attention/coaching and camaraderie/support amongst likeminded people.
Is there a set start date?
Not at all. We’ll get you in for your introductory 1-to-1 session and from there you’ll have our access to our schedule at the tip of your thumbs.
What happens after I sign up?
You’ll either sign up directly from our site or you’ll book a call to chat about it first. Either way, you’ll be invited in for an introductory 1-to-1 session with one of our coaches.
That session is aimed at ensuring you’re comfortable in our environment and so that you know what to expect when you come in for your first session.
Whoever takes your intro session will communicate what you did with the coaching team to make sure that you get off to the smoothest start possible with us.
From there, we’ll send you over our welcome stuff, which will include access to our booking system so that you can get booked straight back in and get started
I’ve never been in a gym before, does that matter?
Not at all. Many of those who start with us are totally new to the gym environment, but ability/skill level really doesn’t matter.
I’ve not done any exercise in years, does that matter?
Nope. We’ll meet you where you are just now and will help build you up gradually.
I’m an absolute unit and train all the time, will this be too easy?
We doubt it. We’ve got a bundle of athletes across a variety of different sports, from boxing to MMA to running to football training with us. Personal Training means everything will be tailored to your needs; so it doesn’t matter how fit/unfit you are, you’ll be challenged accordingly.
Over the course of a month, we speak to roughly 30-40 people who aren’t quite sure what we do or if we’ll be a good fit for their needs.
