Why Personal Training?

Let’s face it, you’re going to struggle to achieve your goals if you’re stuck at the back of a 40+ person class or aimlessly wandering around a weights room for an hour at a time, hardly raising your pulse. And that’s if you’ve managed to get into the gym in the first place. If you’re anything like the majority, the thought of joining a gym is a daunting one, at the very least.

“What do I do? Will I be safe? Will I embarrass myself?
What if everyone stares at me?”

These are a number of the worries we’ve heard from our members, over the years, before they started with us.

Personal Training is quite simply a fast-track to results when it comes to your health and fitness. Our expert trainers have dedicated their professional lives to making people like you feel totally comfortable in an environment you never thought you’d be able to relax in.

We’ll help you cut through all of the nonsense information, guide you through your workouts and ensure you make the absolute most out of your time in the gym. Not only that, but we’ll help keep you on track – both inside and outside of the gym – when your motivation inevitably starts to waver.

We’ve got over three decades of experience on our team and we’re fully committed to helping each individual who crosses our front door take control of their health, fitness and body shape once and for all; arming you with the tools they need to succeed for the rest of your life.

Our Method

Having operated on both a 1-to-1 and a ‘bootcamp’ basis over the years,
we eventually settled somewhere in the middle with small group Personal Training.

We found the personal relationship typically inhibited the training
after a while with 1-to-1 and there just wasn’t enough attention to detail or individualisation
in a bootcamp setting.

Training people in small groups allows us to make Personal Training more affordable, more flexible, more fun and, honestly, more effective. The group dynamic provides support, camaraderie, and banter that combine to create a results-yielding furnace. (Plus, if you don’t like your trainer’s tone the odds are stacked in your favour.)

Rather than offering you a gym membership with the option of hourly Personal Training sessions on top, our memberships are all based around Personal Training and our large group fitness classes; allowing us to create the most tailored, results-driven programme for you, based on your goals, your preferences, your schedule, and your budget.
